About Butyl Glycidyl Ether (B.G.E)
it is a low viscosity, aliphatic monoepoxide reactive diluent, based on n-butyl alcohol. It is compatible with all types of epoxy resin in any proportion Resins diluted with it can be suitably cured by epoxy curing agents for variety of applications. Higher proportion imparts flexibility in cured system and hence affects glass transition temperature significantly.
